Project Details

The challenge was to create a printed resource that students would actually use and want to keep handy. Notoriously the demographic wants everything to be in a digital format. The other problem is that you have to give them information that is difficult to minimize and still be effective.

We created content that was directly applicable to both how they could directly benefit to study more and stay as well as possible, as well as to give them information that would save them time and effort to maximize their studies. The layout does not have elements competing for attention. It uses color for headlines to both separate content and group like-content into categories.

The most important contact information is on the back cover, because when you need it, you shouldn’t have to flip through pages to find it. By being on the back cover it can be put down face-up for quick access, or there s a 50% chance it will be on top when you look for the guide among your books.

This won a Platinum Marcom Award in 2014.
